Extenway’s IP-over-Ethernet technology platform delivers a secure, scalable, end-to-end network that enables the delivery of a wide variety of digital entertainment and data services through the guestroom television. Besides supporting an IP infrastructure, our platform enables a dynamic and interactive one-on-one relationship with guests.
Our system is divided into three major components; the Network Operations Center which is centrally hosted and managed by Extenway, the Hotel Media Center which is located within the IT center of the hotel, and the in-room hardware components typically consisting of a set-top box, wireless keyboard and remote control.
In addition to Extenway’s proprietary technology and services, our experienced team of engineers and IT veterans are constantly developing new ways to integrate third-party products and applications into the room, reviewing the industry’s latest media devices and researching innovative new software solutions.
